About Adam
I’m Adam, a scientist with a history of getting the job done in our community, and your MP for Erewash. In my former day job, I was academic, teaching electro-mechanical engineering and developing advanced manufacturing technologies. I hold a strong advocacy for increasing the number of expert voices in local and national government and the general science literacy of British politics.
I am known locally for my ability to provide reason and measured debate, and for facilitating consensus between people with differing opinions.
I care very much about restoring our NHS, bringing climate change to heel and getting a good deal for our community in Erewash, where I live. I have lived here since 2015, and in my current house in Long Eaton since 2019.
